Who is Safe Drive Morocco?
Safe Drive Morocco (SDM) is a private driver service based on Morocco's Atlantic coast, covering Taghazout, Tamraght and Agadir every day, plus Agadir Al Massira airport. It offers three things: the Safe Night, a full evening with a dedicated driver and venues booked ahead; Bespoke, a private driver for a stay or an event; and airport transfers. Prices are quoted in euros and confirmed in writing on WhatsApp before every departure. There is no app to install and no account to create.
Why the company exists
Taghazout sits about thirty kilometres from Agadir, on the Essaouira road. During the day a shared taxi covers it for a few dirhams, and that is perfectly fine. After midnight the road empties: taxis become scarce, the fare gets argued at the kerb, and the question of how you get home spoils the end of the evening.
SDM does not claim to replace the shared taxi. The company was built around the one moment when that option stops working: at night, and on journeys where the driver has to wait. It is a narrow patch, deliberately so, and that is why we cover it properly.
The man at the wheel
Achraf has driven this coast for twelve years. He started on the Agadir–Taghazout road back when finding a taxi after midnight was close to a miracle, and he is the one who set the house rule: the price is agreed before you get in, never after. He speaks Arabic, English and French, and is supported by a team who go through the same checks he does.

On every Safe Night we offer a disposable camera: €50, developing included, photos sent within 72 hours. Thirty-six exposures, one flash, no filters. It is our way of saying an evening deserves better than a story that vanishes in 24 hours.
Frequently asked questions
Where exactly does SDM operate?
Every day in Taghazout, Tamraght and Agadir, plus Agadir Al Massira airport. Marrakech, Casablanca and Rabat are covered on request, arranged in advance as Bespoke journeys.
Is SDM a taxi company?
No. SDM is a pre-booked private driver service: there is no cruising for fares, no meter and no pick-up hailed in the street. Every ride is booked ahead on WhatsApp, with the price confirmed in writing and the driver's profile sent before he arrives.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Bookings are handled in English, French or Arabic on WhatsApp, and Achraf, the lead driver, speaks all three.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Everything happens on WhatsApp: you send the date, the pick-up point and how many of you there are, and you receive the price then the driver's profile. No account, no card stored.
